About Psalms, Hymns & Spiritual Songs

There are numerous examples where Scripture tells us to sing a NEW song and to share them with each other. Here's a few of my favorites:

Psalm 40:3: "He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God"
Psalm 149:1: "Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise in the assembly of his faithful people"
Colossians 3:16: "Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God."

Let's use the "new songs he put in our mouths" as one way to practice the presence of Jesus together.

Our hope is that musicians and lyricists share original songs for mutual edification. In addition, we would love to have others join us in worship and prayer for our PHSS Worship Nights every 3-4 months. We'll meet at the Flynn home in Apple Valley OR Hometown Bloomington if we outgrow the house.

Group members will be sent info closer to the time of the worship nights. Adults and teens (6th grade and up) are welcome to join.
